Distribution: Indian Ocean, Persian Gulf, Indonesia, Red Sea

Description: Medium Size 20cm. Like many of his kind he has a very compressed body. The head is separated from the body by a wide white band, muzzle him being separated by a first horizontal black band above the eyes those eyes are hidden by a black spot trailers. The body is degraded brown to black head, yellow to the dorsal fin. An alternation of lighter scales gives it a mottled appearance.   The caudal fin is red-brown, ending with black edging and a pretty blue edging.  

Habitat: They are found in a shallow area, ranging from 3 to 15m. Often moves couple in coral areas.

Food: Instead carnivorous, feeding mainly on small crustaceans, polyps
